I'm Justin Ward. I founded Hedingham Capital after four years building the data function at TurnPoint Services, a $1.5B HVAC platform that scaled from 20 to 60+ brands through serial acquisition.
At TurnPoint I architected the central data warehouse, designed the M&A integration playbook that onboarded each new brand onto a unified data model within weeks of close, and deployed revenue-generating AI products including automated review responses, customer intelligence summaries, and AI CSR QA across the portfolio. By the time I left, the function spanned 4 FTEs and 4 vendor teams, partnering directly with the executive team on data strategy and acquisition integration.
I started Hedingham because the same pattern keeps showing up at every PE-backed rollup I talk to: fast growth through acquisition, fragmented data underneath, unreliable reporting at exactly the moments the operating partner needs clarity, and no internal bandwidth to fix it. I spent four years solving that problem from the inside. Now I help other platforms solve similar problems
I hold an MS in Applied Statistics from RIT, an MBA in Corporate Finance from Syracuse, and a BA from Penn State. Prior experience includes data science and analytics leadership at Advance Auto Parts and First Data Corporation (now Fiserv)
